Only 27 more waiting days until the release of my favorite brand of cards -- Topps Heritage. Today, Topps unveiled this gem to the public...

One thing for me that stands out are the dual rookie cards. I like the cards of rookie sensations Dylan Bundy of the Orioles and Jurickson Profar of the Rangers. I think these rookie cards will be a hit among collectors. I also like the trophy card of Cespedes.
The Topps Heritage refractors are one of my favorite insert sets. One thing that most people haven't noticed is there is something omitted from the sell sheet. Look carefully at the Chrome cards and see if you can find the omission...

Although it should be highly predictable as in year's past that the Chromes will be numbered to 1964 and the Chrome Refractors will be numbered to 564, I find it interesting that this information is not listed on the sell sheet. One thing that I would like for Topps to do is to make the serial numbers larger. Take a look at a 2011 Heritage black chrome tefractor back and then one from 2006...

Maybe I'm just getting old and my eyesight is fading. However, I would very much like for Topps to revert back to the bigger serial number font.
One major new addition to the Chrome lineup for 2013 are Gold Refractors. These cards will be serially numbered to just five copies each and can only be found in hobby packs. I look forward to seeing one of these in person!
Is it March 6th yet?

Even better make the seriel number bigger but put it in a good spot like the 2006 card.
It will be interesting to see if they do anything different with the location and size of the serial number.
