On the Back: ""Red" worte his name in the National League Record Book in 1959 by playing 57 games and handling 320 chances without an error to break the mark for second-basemen he set in 1948. He was called up by the Cards after hitting .337 and .373 at Rochester in 1943-44. Since then, he's led the League in Stolen Bases in '45 with 26, in Doubles with 43 in '50 and was No. 1 in Fielding at 2B in '46. His homer won the 1950 All-Star Game."
